LWD is a compact group of individual dance artists whose experience and talents combine to present new Australian dance of an international calibre.
Artistic Director, Leigh Warren launched LWD in 1993, following a distinguished performing career with the Australian Ballet, Ballet Rambert, Nureyev & Friends and Nederlands Dans Theater.
LWD produces many original dance works and collaborates with distinguished choreographers and seminal artists. Partnering with composers, musical groups and visual artists of various cultures, LWD creates work which challenges the dancers and the art forms themselves – appealing to audiences of all ages.
The company has received numerous awards, including several Adelaide Critics Circle awards, three Australian Dance Awards, four Green Room Awards and a prestigious Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award.

Leigh Warren & Dancers (LWD) es un compacto grupo de solistas cuyo talento y experiencia se combinan para presentar nueva danza australiana de calibre Internacional.
El director artístico, Leigh Warren lanzó LWD en 1993, después de una distinguida carrera con el Australian Ballet, Ballet Rambert, Nureyev and Friends y Nederland Dans Theater.
LWD produce muchas coreografías originales y colabora con distinguidos coreógrafos y influyentes artistas. Mediante asociaciones con compositores, grupos musicales y artistas visuales de varias culturas, LWD crea obras que desafian a los bailarines y a las propias formas artísticas –atrayendo a públicos de todas las edades.
La compañía ha recibido numerosos premios, incluyendo varios premios del Círculo de Críticos de Adelaide, tres Premios de Danza Australianos, cuatro Premios Green Room y el prestigioso Premio Sidney Myer Perfoming Arts.
